Kay performed solo recorder (and with background CD's) at the Courthouse Museum in Old Shasta.
The performance featured Irish music, Medieval dances, and English
Renaissance music from the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book (transcribed for
lute and recorder). |

Renaissance and Celtic Faire:
April 30-May 1, 2005; Anderson River Park (Anderson, CA). |
Kay
participated in the Faire for the fist time in 2005. Kay played
English Renaissance music, English country
dances, and Irish music.
On Sunday, Kay celebrated the sacred side
of the Renaissance by playing hymns from the Anglican hymnal. Many of
these tunes were written during the Renaissance. |
